Bible Verses About Forgiveness
Anyone who's been badly hurt knows how hard forgiveness is. Sometimes it isn't unwillingness — the thing simply hurt too much, and being told to move on only makes it worse. And sometimes you're the one who did the damage, and you can't get past yourself.
Here are eight passages from the Bible about forgiveness — forgiving other people, and being forgiven yourself. They don't hurry you toward reconciliation, and they don't tell you the resentment is your fault. They lay the whole thing out and let you look at it slowly.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
