Bible Verses About Thankfulness and Gratitude
Gratitude comes easily when things go well and feels forced when they don't. But a lot of people find that what actually settles them is deliberately counting the small things they'd normally walk straight past.
Here are eight passages from the Bible about thankfulness and blessing. They don't ask you to pretend everything is fine, and they aren't cheerful platitudes. They just shift the angle: from what's missing to what's already here. We hope they bring a few things to mind worth saying thank you for.

Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:15-17
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
